Santu Mitra

He is one of the directors of DAWN Care Foundation.

Santu follows a big dream. His dream is that nobody should sleep hungry. To chase his passion he is vigorously working day and night.  He is also the Founder of Samarpan Youth Group in the year 2014 in Gurgaon (now Gurugram). He has undertaken several campaigns, worked on them vigorously and they turned out to be extremely successful ones. Some of the campaigns undertaken by him are like distribution of winter clothing to the needy, organizing blood donation camps, active participation towards the flood relief, etc.

Being a voluntary blood donor himself (50^th blood donor), he conducts blood donation camps regularly in Delhi -NCR and also helps patients with blood, platelets, and plasma through his huge voluntary blood donor database.

Originally from Siliguri, West Bengal, he has completed his Bachelor of Business Management from Bangalore University. Then shifted to New Delhi to start his career in Airlines. He has worked for almost all European and American airlines for twenty long years, but never for a day has he turned his back towards his passion. He is driving his dream simultaneously.

He believes that if we can re-imagine learning to develop empathy, creative thinking, problem solving, and collaborative working skills amongst young people, they will be able to overcome adversity and flourish in this fast-changing world.
