DAWN Care Foundation started operating with project in Gurugram and has grown to a network of 43+ volunteers, focusing on education, vulnerable children, and work readiness. Over 50K+ people are impacted so far. The organisation aims to enable individuals and families to improve all aspects of their lives, thereby creating a lasting impact.

MISSION & VISION

OUR OBJECTIVES
- DAWN Care Foundation acts as catalyst to improve education in the selected areas with focus on out of school girls and primary school.
- Empowerment of women by way of their group formation, capacity building, skill up gradation and sustainable livelihood creation.
- Promoting economic upliftment of the small and marginal farmers including dairy farmers by improving their farm management practices, facilitating fair & transparent procurement activity and providing market linkages for remunerative pricing.
- Creating employment opportunities for youths through training, capacity building and skill upgradation.
- To build capacity of the villagers for taking up infrastructure development works in their villages like rural roads, housing, drinking water, sanitation etc.

In contrast to a direct charity model, we believe in community empowerment. We believe that education is more than a fundamental human right: it is a significant tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and bringing forward transformational change.

CAUSES
Economies have fallen, powerful nations have bowed out, and life as we know it has been confined to the walls of our houses. And, while the rest of the world is fighting the virus, we have another war to fight in our own nation. Thousands of migrant workers and daily wage earners have been laid off as a result of the current state of emergency, which has adversely impacted children and women. And while most of us are concerned about our children's education, our jobs, our futures, our businesses and their prospects, and how to manage time at home in isolation or simply becoming bored at home, the majority of us are concerned about our children's education, our jobs, our futures, our businesses, and their prospects. The least fortunate have only one concern.
Where will their next meal come from?
Will their kids sleep on an empty stomach again?
Will their family survive another day of starvation?
